There are two convenient ways to establish membership:
1. Visit Any Branch
Visit with a Member Service Representative at any of our 10 branches. They will make opening a NavyArmy account an easy, pleasant experience.
Please bring with you:
A driver's license or valid photo I.D.
A document showing your social security number such as Social Security Card or a payroll stub.
Cash or check for at least $35.00, payable to NavyArmy, or $55.00 if you are opening both a Savings and a Checking Account. This includes a $10.00 one-time membership fee. A savings account with a balance of at least $25.00 must be maintained in order to remain a member of NavyArmy.
2. Give Us A Call
If you don't have the time to come into a branch, you can give one of our Member Service Representatives a call at 361-986-4500 or 800-622-3631, option 2. We will mail everything you need to open a NavyArmy account, even a postage-paid return envelope.
To join by mail, you must:
Complete the Membership Form in full, signing where indicated.
Include an enlarged photocopy (front and back) of your driver's license (or other official picture identification).
Enclose a check in the amount of at least $35.00 payable to NavyArmy Federal Credit Union, or $55.00 if you are opening both a savings and a checking account. This includes a $10.00 one-time membership fee.
